At Dr. Andre Price's Funeral

In "Sorrows of a Wizard" [link] you read that Gargamel's best friend, Dr. Andre Price, was killed in a car accident. This tragedy didn't just affect Gargy, but many in the Science community. Many folks were even best friends with him too, including Professor Andrew Youngling, seen here on the left.

Dr. Youngling is here looking at his friend being held by Priscilla Smurf. He knows exactly how close Gargy was to Andre and doesn't want to disturb him while he sobs.

"I can sense you watching us. Not that I'm trying to keep things secret or..."
"It's alright, Miss. Did you know Andre?"
"Not at all. I've only started dating Gargamel here for a very short time. I know next to nothing about his friends and colleagues, including you."
"I see, so you went to a funeral for someone you don't even know."
"I want to be as supportive as I can to him. I may know very little of this man, Andre, but I'm no stranger to loss. Both my parents died when I was very young."
"Is that so?"
"One very rainy day, the creek beside my village got flooded. Most of the villagers, including me, were spared and lived despite the flood, but not all. Mom and Dad both were swept by the current, never to be seen alive again."
"Sorry to hear that. So that's how you can relate to him then."
"I feel the need to be by his side, especially through this."
"You're a good woman, uhh..."
"It's Priscilla. Priscilla Smurf."
"Oh yeah. That explains your appearance. But I always heard from him that your people were only a foot and a half tall."
"Long story. Too long for now."
"Understand."
