A Daughter's Love for her Father

Sakura Minamino is a candy-striper volunteer at the same hospital her dad, Dr. Suichi Minamino, works at.  She was in the room with him saying their goodbyes to one of his elderly patients.  Mr. Keno Ochacho was a widower at the age of 98 and was surrounded by his family and medical staff.  The hospital chaplain had read him his last rites and after hearing them, he died.  Sakura held onto her father's hand and walked him down the hallway to the closest private area.  A men's restroom had to do on the floor they were on, not the most ideal place for a thirteen-year-old girl, but everywhere else was occupied in the ever busy hospital.  Neither of them had to use the toilet.  Both of their "call of natures" happened a half hour before Mr. Ochacho died.  But this time what had to be relieved was Kurama's breaking heart.  Sakura found for them a handicap stall and sits on the toilet as if it was a mere chair.  She helped her father to his knees and held his head on her shoulders.  It didn't take long for his eyes to release the steady stream of tears.  The more Sakura comforted him, the harder her father cried and dampened the skirt of her dress.
